About Me
I have been writing as a job, in various capacities, for the past 7 years, and yet one thing I struggle with is writing about myself. However, unless you want to hire me to write about myself (which would be pretty weird…) I’m pretty sure I can deliver!
My work is consistently praised by clients for being engaging, timely and written with the brand voice in mind. Whether you want a chatty blog, a professional monthly newsletter or persuasive product copy, I’m your woman!
In my past life, I was a digital marketing account manager and as such, I have a wealth of advanced SEO knowledge that can help to get your business on the map - or at least high up in Google rankings.
Although I can turn my hand to most things (except, as we have discovered, bios), most of my experience has been in the following:
- Ghostwriting
- SEO-enhanced website copy
- Blogs
- Researched articles
I specialise in lifestyle pieces, travel (particularly eco-travel, budget travel, and safaris) chronic illness, parenting, humour, and opinion pieces, but have likely written about most topics. I have several years experience in ghostwriting for clients, examples of which are available on request (because, of course, they have someone else’s name attributed to them!). I research thoroughly to ensure that I am practically an expert on the topic by the time it comes to writing, whether that be insurance, Feng Shui or thermal optic lasers (a real past client!).
Get in touch to find out how I can give your business the exposure it deserves, while you focus on what you do best.
“Codie is one of those rare gems in the freelancing world that you don’t come across very often. She is a highly skilled writer who lets her passion and voice shine through in her work. She is one of the very first freelance writers I ever worked with and we’ve worked together for several years, because both my clients and I love the way she writes. She has a dedication and work ethic that can be hard to find and whenever I need freelance writing work she’s one of the first people I turn to.”
